BEIJING—A Bombardier Inc. joint venture has secured a US$165 million contract to build 80 CRH1E-250 high speed sleeper train cars for China’s fast-growing high speed rail network.
Bombardier Sifang Transportation Ltd., a 50/50 partnership between the Montreal-based company and CSR Sifang Rolling Stock Co., will build the cars for China Railway Corp.
