High Speed Rail Canada Releases Rare 1973 Radio Interview On Board CN Turbo Train High Speed Rail Canada has released a rare radio interview done on board the CN Turbo train in 1973. Rare CN Turbo High Speed Train Photos to be Released May 3rd, 2017

Adding the new paint scheme to the Turbo Train! We are excited to announce that we have found 28 professionally taken slides of the CN/VIA Turbo Train. That was Canada's only high speed train that ran from 1968-1982. These slides are from the Lorne Perry collection and feature photos from different periods of the Turbo. There are also some rare photos taken inside the train. Check back on our website on May 3rd and you will have access to view them all.

Rare Final Run VIA Rail Turbo Train Photos to Be Releasd

October 31st, 1982 Turbo Train It pays to start cleaning out your storage areas. John Stewart had lent me his slides of the Turbo Train. The slides were take on October 31st, 1982. It was the last run of the Turbo from Toronto to Montreal. I had recently been going through my collections and found these slides again. Although not always the best quality photos they certainly are the rarest photos of  CN/VIA/ Turbo Train In 7 days on October 31st, we will post a link to them on our website. High Speed Rail Canada to Release UAC CN Turbo Train Equipment Diagrams

We will be announcing very soon, the ultimate Canadian FREE high speed rail present for all supporters of High Speed Rail Canada. It is no secret we are big fans of reminding Canadians that we had higher speed trains, e.g The UA CN TURBO in the past. We will have has a pdf download on this blog, the ORIGINAL CN TURBO TRAIN Equipment Location Diagrams Model TMT-7D from United Aircraft Canada. These are simply spectacular. The UAC CN Turbo ran from 1968 to 1984 in Canada and often had speeds over 200km/h. This has been well documented. To get pumped up for the Equipment Diagrams release go to our archives and listen to complete official 1967 CN press conference announcing the Turbo. Journey back in time when Canada actually had a vision for high speed rail. My hope is that some politician/ business leaders in Canada will look at these diagrams and say, YES, we can have high speed trains again in Canada and do it better. Just in time for the holidays High Speed Rail Canada has released a 1973 radio news segment from CFMT Montreal on the re-introduction of the CN Turbo Train into regular service. This news segment by Fred Langan, also features a very rare interview from 1968 done after the ill fated inaugural run of the CN Turbo Train.
